Orbis TaskCentre
|
Orbis TaskCentre is a completely automated information management system. It can be used to collate and distribute key business data (to staff, customers and suppliers), to generate work requests, and to initiate any number of automated sub-routines.
At the core of the system are configurable templates, used to monitor events within the accounts database. The information obtained by these templates can then be used to trigger a number of actions. Any data field can be flagged for monitoring and the rules for prompting an action are completely flexible. For example, a template can be set up to check every customer's outstanding balance, at one-minute intervals, if required. When balances change in line with the pre-determined guidelines (i.e. go over a certain limit) then actions are automatically activated. Similarly when calls recorded in Service Manager exceed their service agreement then a supervisor can be notified immediately.
This can lead to improved efficiency and customer service through high-quality information distribution and automation of key business processes, all with no user intervention.
The driving factor behind the Orbis TaskCentreŽ is that of automating and streamlining manual and inefficient business processes, within one distinct software platform. There are a host of examples and illustrations of such automation.
